Dr. Michael Baleno
Dr. Baleno graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2005 and has been in private practice in the Pittsburgh area since that time. He has continued his chiropractic training through hours of post-graduate and continuing education specializing in myofascial release techniques, trigger point therapy, activator and drop techniques, flexion distraction, as well as sport and fitness training. He has been certified through the International Sports Science Association as a Certified Fitness Trainer which has helped him provide his patients with exercise rehab, nutritional, and wellness lifestyle counseling.
Dr. Baleno graduated from Duquesne University in 2001 where he studied the biological sciences and also played Division I Men's soccer. He was a NAIA National Strength and Fitness All-American while at Duquesne. He went on to coach high school soccer for six years serving as the head coach at Plum Senior High School and has worked with athletes for the past twenty years. His extensive background and experience has allowed him to gain a hands-on knowledge and expertise working with patients of all ages, with a variety of conditions.
Dr. Baleno offers his patients a gentle yet extensive musculoskeletal treatment methodology by treating not only the joint dysfunction contributing to pain but by also addressing the associated musculature attributing to the underlying condition. He then focuses on correcting and strengthening these areas to stabilize and prevent future problems. Dr. Baleno strives to provide each patient with a personal and positive experience. He takes pride in knowing he has been able to help so many people improve their lives and feel better through his work.
